The acorn that became Nobis grew out of the Romanian immigrant experience. Our story is rooted in the traditions, sacrifices, and aspirations of that experience. Nobis’ story is the quintessential newcomer story: ambitious, hopeful, earnest and dignified. In a word – noble. And much like the oak that grows from the acorn, we grew from that tradition, and aim our sights higher, towards the sky.

We believe in the true message of Christmas. We believe that this holiday holds a special significance in our souls, one which goes beyond mere material gifts and abundant feasts.
Christmas is itself the supreme gift, God’s gift. Year after year, we remember the light and beauty which He bestowed upon us.

So it is our wish and our duty to use our own God-given talents to properly honour this divine gift. Through our concerts, through our galas, through our charitable work, we want to bring forth the true spirit of Christmas: sacrifice, charity, and above all else, love for each other.

We want to be a guiding light, however modest, for everyone who yearns to live through and experience the sacred nobility of Christmas.
